🍀 The Fixin’ of THE GREEN 🍀
‘Tis a cold and dismal gray I see
Outside my window pane.
First snow and sleet now fog and mud
And sideways blows the rain.
But I am cheered, for soon I know
The robin comes to call.
And with her come the crocus-
Then the tulips with the thaw.
Although it’s not outside my door,
I have another scene,
To warm my heart….Spring MUST be near…
